RAKUSU
To take Jukai and receive a dharma name you will
need to either make or purchase a black rakusu:
One source is Tatiana Masse on Etsy:
You will wish to order a standard black "Soto" style rakusu;
. one with the green broken pine needle motif on the neck
flap, and a ring (usually white but can be natural wood).
Used Soto rakusus from Japan appear for sale
occasionally on eBay. "Sanghajapan" is a good source.
Again, it must be plain black.
